Proposed by: This proposal was initiated by Jini, a member of the CARV Korea community and a Guardian, based on feedback gathered from the community.
This proposal outlines the plan to introduce two new community-driven voting systems aimed at improving engagement and decision-making processes within the CARV community. The first initiative will allow the community to vote on game selection criteria for the NGG and GGG events, and the second will enable members to vote on updated eligibility criteria for the CARVer of the Month award.
Community engagement is at the heart of CARV’s ecosystem. As our platform grows, so does the need for transparent and inclusive decision-making. Recently, core community members Jini and Rezaya proposed new ideas that align with this vision. By involving the community in key decisions, we aim to increase ownership, inclusivity, and alignment with community values.
NGG and GGG Game Selection Criteria:
Jini observed ongoing debates around whether to feature free or paid games during major events. Free games increase accessibility, while paid games often ensure higher quality. A community vote will help us align our event planning with collective preferences.
CARVer of the Month Criteria Update:
Rezaya suggested making this recognition more exclusive by requiring participants to hold the Major role instead of the Colonel role. This adjustment is intended to reward the most active and committed CARVers, thereby encouraging deeper engagement.
