A bit about this role:
As a SVM Smart Contract Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing CARV’s blockchain-based systems. From analyzing requirements and coding core modules to ensuring seamless backend integration and secure deployment, you’ll directly contribute to CARV’s mission to build a user-owned internet for all.
You will have the opportunity to (Responsibilities):
- Participate in requirement analysis and product component design, completing module design and coding based on product specifications.
- Submit high-quality, well-tested code on time to ensure that project milestones are met.
- Write, test, and deploy smart contracts while maintaining and optimizing existing contracts for efficiency and security.
- Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between smart contracts and backend systems.
- Design and optimize database structures to enable efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Work closely with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay current on emerging blockchain technologies, frameworks, and trends to continually enhance and refine solutions.
We would love you to have (Requirements):
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Solidity or other smart contract programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Golang for backend development and database design/optimization.
- Skilled in using tools such as Truffle, Hardhat, and libraries like OpenZeppelin; thorough understanding of Ethereum’s EVM and mainstream ERC protocols.
- Foundational Knowledge:
- Solid computer science fundamentals, excellent logical thinking, and rapid problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with common service components (Postgres, Redis, Kafka, K8s) and proven experience in production deployments.
- Architectural & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong software architecture design and code optimization capabilities.
- Ability to tackle and resolve core technical challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Education & Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably from top-tier universities).
- Work experience in well-known enterprises is a plus.
Bonus Points:
- Direct experience working with Solana.
- Hands-on experience with Layer2 solutions.
- Familiarity with distributed storage systems.
